The BAY PL8 beer is a celebration of Maryland pride, local conservation, and the power of community. Brewed by Checkerspot Brewing Company in partnership with the Chesapeake Bay Trust, this Hazy IPA promotes the Protect the Chesapeake and Coastal Bays license plate, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s work to empower people to restore nature.

Simply by purchasing a Bay Plate for only $25, car owners can show their support for the environment and ride with Chesapeake pride. With the Plate Perks program, you can make that $25 investment back quickly!
When you purchase a Bay Plate online, they will be mailed directly to your home. Your contribution is distributed through the Chesapeake Bay Trust in the form of local grants to schools, community groups, and other nonprofits for K-12 environmental education, restoration and protection of our waterways.
