Assistance to Provide Outreach Services for the Chesapeake Bay Trust’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Initiative
The Trust seeks qualified contractors to increase awareness of and engagement in the Community Engagement Mini Grant and the Chesapeake Conservation Corps programs, within under-engaged audiences and organizations. The Trust welcomes proposals from contractors within the state of Maryland who are a part of or have connections with communities of color, those involved in the human health sector, and houses of worship; however, proposals from contractors with connections in other sectors will be considered.
Request for Proposals for Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement Goals and Outcomes – Deadline: April 5, 2017
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is to invite entities experienced in various aspects of fisheries, watershed science and policy, watershed stewardship, climate change, wetlands, toxics, and other watershed issues to submit proposals to the Chesapeake Bay Trust (the Trust). The Trust has been designated to receive federal funds from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as part of the Chesapeake Bay Program (CBP) Goal Implementation Team Project Initiative. The work to be supported will advance outcomes from the 2014 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement. Three specific outcomes from several management goals have been identified as top priorities to address, and these stretch across all Goal Implementation Teams (GITs) and workgroups. The scopes of work are outlined in the RFP. The Funding is supplied by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
