ABOUT THE SPEAKER:

Jack Wildlife, Wildlife Photographer and Environmental Project Manager

Jack Turner, aka Jack Wildlife, is an Annapolis-based photographer and environmental professional who has found a passion in documenting and sharing images and stories of the critters of the Chesapeake Bay. Focusing on wild birds, Jack’s images highlight the beauty of nature and bring attention to the importance of protecting wildlife habitat.

For almost a decade, Jack has slung a camera over his shoulder and headed out to search for all things wild, observing their behavior and splendor and learning about their ecology. He uses his images and knowledge to tell stories of the animals that call our backyards home, and inspires others to engage with their environment. Through engagement, Jack’s mission is to activate environmental stewardship in everyone who takes time to appreciate the images and vignettes he shares. Jack believes that we can all play a role in improving our world for ourselves, for each other, and especially for the animals who cannot advocate for themselves.
