As we face the uncertainty of this health crisis together, please know that the well-being of our constituents is of utmost importance to all of us here at the Chesapeake Bay Trust. We understand how tough the situation is that you and your loved ones may be facing. We understand that individuals, businesses, governments, and nonprofits are all hurting right now.

At the Trust, we are spending this time working hard to keep the projects we fund going, to keep our nonprofit grantees who depend on the funds we send them whole, and to make sure that the Chesapeake and other natural resources keep improving so that when we can use them again, they will be there for us.  You may experience delays in your project as a result of the restrictions placed on all of us. We will make every effort to adjust the timeline and work directly with you, depending on the flexibility of the source(s) of funds associated with your award.

Please consider how to meet the project goals using the current requirements and guidance from local, state, and federal resources for the best practices related to COVID-19. The projects that the Trust funds and the people coordinating them are resilient and our efforts will endure beyond this temporary challenge.

If current circumstances surrounding COVID-19 are interfering with your report/deliverables completion schedule, please reach out to discuss with your program officer and/or formally request an extension through the Award Revision Request link in the online award portal.

As information becomes available, the Trust will post resources for grantees specific to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Trust recommends that grantees thoroughly review the information within each link below to interpret its relationship to their specific needs. This is a fluid list that will be updated regularly.
